Candle Burning Instructions
- The crystal votive holder and liquid wax can get very
hot. Do not touch or move while burning. Moving a lit Ablaze
Candle™ can cause the wick tab to move to the side
of the crystal votive holder. This can cause an unnatural
burning condition which can melt the outer wax shell.
- Do not allow the wick to migrate to the side of the glass
votive holder. This will insure that the outer wax shell
will not melt.
- To prevent wax residue from sticking to glass, place 1/2
tsp. of water in holder before inserting and burning votive.
- Remove label from bottom of votive candle before burning.
- Always burn votive candles in the crystal holder provided.
- Scented or unscented votive candles may be burned in an
Ablaze Candle™. When purchasing replacement votive
candles, it is important to purchase a votive candle that
burns with a bright flame.
- Discontinue burning votive Candles when less than inch
of wax remains, to avoid heat damage.
- Place on a level surface away from flammable items and
drafts.
- Do not allow flame to come in contact with outer wax shell.
- If you are going to use a floating candle, remove votive
holder and place water to just above the disc in the bottom.
You can float candles in any of our designs that have straight
sides or sides that flair in an outward direction. It is
not recommended that floating candles be used in any of
our designs that have sides which flair or curve inward.
Ablaze Candles are impervious to water so it will not harm
the candle in any way. Use floating candles that are generally
round with enough diameter to keep flame away from outer
wax shell.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a
burning candle unattended.
